COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Rules and Winners

 

Eligibility
This scholarship is limited to ISA members and their families. To participate you must be a full time student and resident in the state of Indiana. 

Selection Committee
The selections committee will be composed of a panel of judges selected by the ISA. Judges will be involved in the business work and have an educational background. The winning entry will be announced in the Hoosier Snowmobiler at a later date. We would like to have the winner and their family present. 

Award
The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $500 made payable to and mailed to the college, university or vocational school of the winner's choice. This will be done prior to commencement of the second term and upon submission of an official transcript showing the equivalent of a "C" average or better.

Cover Page
On a separate sheet enclosed with the essay, include the following information:
 * Your Name
 * Addresses
 * Telephone Number
 * Parent's Names
 * College, University, or Vocational School Name/Address
 * Year in School 
The cover sheet will be detached prior to judging so there can be no favoritism by the judges. 

Essay Topic
The entry must be an original essay on the subject: (TBA). The essay is to be a minimum of two pages, not to exceed four pages in length and must be typed and double spaced. Essays will be judged on content, neatness, spelling, and grammar. The winning essay will be printed in the Hoosier Snowmobiler. The scholarship will be awarded strictly on merit.
